Description

Polygon Strattos S7D Carbon Performance Road Bike

The Polygon Strattos S7D is a versatile carbon road bike built for speed, efficient power transfer and confident handling. It combines a UCI-approved ACX carbon frame and fork with a Shimano 105 2x12-speed drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes and tubeless-ready wheels.

Responsive, comfortable and fast, the Strattos S7D is suitable for road racing, training, climbing, sportive events and fast group rides. Its balanced performance makes it an excellent option for riders who want a high-quality carbon road bike at a competitive price.

UCI-Approved ACX Carbon Frame

The Strattos S7D uses an ACX carbon frame and fork developed to provide low weight, efficient power transfer and controlled compliance. Both the frame and fork are UCI approved, making the bike suitable for competitive road cycling.

A reinforced down tube increases pedalling stiffness, helping to transfer the rider's effort directly into acceleration. Polygon states that the updated down tube is 16 percent stiffer than the previous design.

Comfort Without Sacrificing Performance

The carbon construction is designed to absorb road vibration while retaining the stiffness needed for fast acceleration and precise handling. This balance helps the rider remain comfortable during longer rides without losing the responsive character of a performance road bike.

Aerodynamic Design

Aerodynamically shaped frame tubes and streamlined cable routing help reduce air resistance. The clean front end also gives the Strattos S7D a modern and uncluttered appearance.

Shimano 105 2x12-Speed Drivetrain

The Shimano 105 mechanical 2x12-speed drivetrain provides accurate, dependable shifting and a wide selection of closely spaced gears. It delivers much of the technology found on Shimano's premium road groupsets while remaining practical and easy to maintain.

A compact 50/34T crankset is combined with an 11-34T cassette. This gearing provides the speed needed for fast road riding together with lower gears for steep climbs and long, hilly routes.

Shimano 105 Hydraulic Disc Brakes

Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes provide strong and predictable stopping power with excellent control. They perform consistently in dry and wet conditions, giving the rider greater confidence during fast descents and emergency braking.

Tubeless-Ready Road Wheels

The Polygon RD6 Disc wheelset features alloy double-wall tubeless-ready rims and sealed-bearing thru-axle hubs. The bike is supplied with Schwalbe One 700x28C road tyres for a fast and comfortable ride.

The rims can be converted to tubeless when used with compatible tubeless tyres, suitable rim tape, valves and sealant.
