The Orion is the Aztron SUP for surfing. Designed to ride small to medium size waves, even respectable size waves, it is extremely easy to manoeuvre. It is built in a traditional, high-performance surfboard shape that excels in most conditions. The 12 cm (4.75 inches) thickness and curved contour make the ORION more maneuverable than most inflatable surfboards. That's the key to his unique skill. Thanks to its 29" width, it is an excellent inflatable paddle board for manoeuvring in waves. The Double Rocker line generates a lot of power, but also greatly improves stability, despite its small width. Its tighter tail improves reactivity. Aztron's signature, the double chamber construction, a curved front rocker and the most advanced digital printing graphics technique complete one of the most impressive surfboards in the range. It also offers an excellent paddling experience for lighter paddlers. New for 2020, the Orion benefits from the brand's latest improvements: in particular the new fin box for even greater reliability and performance.

An inflatable paddle board with high-end features

Double chamber construction

"Incredibly safe." The double chamber construction is Aztron's signature technology and applies to all Aztron inflatable stand up paddles. The second air chamber offers at least 100 litres of buoyancy, which effectively ensures passenger safety. The inner chamber has additional inflated threads and side walls placed in the "standing area". It gives the board 30% more stiffness. With the double chamber structure, it's like paddling with a rigid board.

Narrow board

The Orion is a board for riders looking for sensations. The 29 "(74 cm) width makes this board easy to handle and allows even the "craziest" among us to send out difficult manoeuvres. However, the board remains very stable on flat water. That's why Orion is becoming the star of the waves.

For advanced surfing, this is certainly one of the best boards!

Thickness 15 cm

Unlike all other SUP boards Aztron's that are 6 inches thick, the Orion is 4.75" thick for a thinner rail. The result is a much better grip, a stabilized board and maximum recovery at the bottom of the wave. The stiffness is not to be outdone because the double chamber is doing its job and allows the board to behave as a single unit, with very limited deformation in response to the stress imposed by the wave.

Grooved diamond footpad 4 mm

The EVA pad is made of one piece. Its soft appearance and large surface area combined with the 4 mm groove provides traction and comfort.

A carry handle

Lightweight and equipped with a carry handle, the Aztron Orion 8'6" is extremely easy to lift and carry. All Aztron handles are made of neoprene with rubber reinforcement for a comfortable carrying experience.

Rocker

The full curvature (4.75"/12 cm) from nose to tail ensures that the board does not get stuck in the take off, and allows an excellent grip in the hollow part of the wave. The full rocker makes this board incredibly responsive no matter where the rider is on the board. The pronounced rocker system, combined with the kick-pad, increases handling and stability in both calm and rough water conditions.
