The Polygon Collosus DH7 is a race-developed downhill mountain bike built for high-speed descending, demanding race tracks, bike parks and aggressive gravity riding. It combines a durable ALX alloy frame with 200mm of suspension travel, adjustable geometry and a mixed-wheel configuration.
Developed from the proven Collosus N enduro platform and tested by Polygon Factory Racing, the Collosus DH7 provides the traction, stability and impact control required for modern downhill riding.
IFS 6-Bar Suspension
Polygon's IFS suspension uses an innovative 6-bar linkage developed through downhill racing. The system manages braking and pedalling forces independently while controlling the leverage ratio and rear-wheel axle path.
This design provides excellent small-bump sensitivity, dependable traction and controlled suspension behaviour under braking. Progressive support helps the bike remain stable at high speed and controlled during large impacts and hard landings.
200mm RockShox Suspension
The RockShox BoXXer Base fork provides 200mm of travel using an air spring and Charger 3 damper. Compression and rebound adjustment allow the rider to tune the fork for different tracks, riding styles and rider weights.
A RockShox Vivid Base rear shock controls the bike's 200mm of rear-wheel travel, providing traction over rough terrain and support through high-speed impacts.
Mixed-Wheel Downhill Setup
The standard mixed-wheel configuration combines a 29-inch front wheel with a 27.5-inch rear wheel. The larger front wheel improves rollover performance and stability, while the smaller rear wheel provides greater agility and clearance on steep terrain.
The frame is also compatible with a 29-inch rear wheel, allowing riders to create a full 29-inch setup for maximum stability and rollover performance.
Adjustable Geometry
Two flip-chip systems allow the Collosus DH7 to be configured in four different geometry positions. Riders can adjust the bottom-bracket height and rear-wheel setup to match the track and their preferred handling characteristics.
The 1.5-inch head tube is also compatible with aftermarket reach or angle-adjusting headset cups, providing further options for personalizing the bike's geometry.
